About

Kompani Stranger is my professional hub, collecting my thoughts and projects and answer the perennial question (allright, my mother’s question): But… What is it you do?

I am an independent consultant, working as an adviser and content provider in the field of media and cultural politics, primarily in the Scandinavian countries. With a MA in media studies from the University of Bergen, I’ve worked with theater, film, television and games related questions in Norway, Sweden and Denmark since 1998. Kompani Stranger, based in Malmö, Sweden, was started in May 2009.

Mostly, I’m a one-woman operation, but I’m happy to work together with other companies and freelancers, especially in regards to my two pet areas: Nordic and transmedia co-operation. I’m comfortable in the in-between of both countries and industries, I love the field of the undecided and creating things from scratch.

I always work with projects and people that make me laugh and teach me new things. And I’m always happy to be invited for a cup of coffee and a chat.
